Hunting

Our last weekend of summer was spent up Payson canyon for the archery hunt. We had a blast! It was my first time going up to the hunt with Bart and it was actually really exciting. We took his parents trailer up Thursday and then everyone else came up Friday and Saturday. Bart and I went fishing together for the first time on Friday at Payson Lakes and it was really fun. No fish though:( We then started the hunt at 5 am Saturday morning and it was really fun. After the hunt Bart, Me, Carlos and Brad played 2-on-2 with some air soft guns that Bart and I got in Korea. It was hilarious! It was a really good weekend, but as of yet no Bucks!

4th of July

Our family all got together for the Fourth up in Ogden. We started the morning out with a parade in which the kids got a ton of candy! We all then played in an outdoor volleyball tournament together. We made three teams with our family and it was so fun! Bart and I were on a team with my sister Lindsey and my brother Scott. We played really good but then lost in the tournament to one of my families other teams. It was really fun and the kids all played outside with us and did great. We all then went to my sister Karrie's house to BBQ, swim and do fireworks! It turned out to be a really fun day with all the family together!

Get off my Back!!!

Ok so I am sick of hearing from everyone about not keeping my blog up so I thought I would give a quick update on our lives and then you all can leave me alone. I am home from school and only have to go to two weeks worth of classes during the summer! I will be going back for another year and then I will be done! I am so excited. We are both glad I am home and excited for the summer. Bart has been working hard, as usual, and plans on finishing our yard this summer and I can't wait to pick out bushes and flowers! We have no big plans or any trips ahead besides the fact that I am in young womens and get to go to girls camp! Oh yeah, really stoked about that! Our four year anniversary is coming up and that just blows my mind how quick that went! No other news, but here is a picture of us a couple weeks ago at the St. George temple. We went when I finished school for a mini vacation.........

Mustache King!!

So the most awesome thing happened to Bart and we just wanted to share it with the rest of you. If you don't know Bart very well let me explain; Bart is the biggest DC fan that lives!! He always wears DC, he decorated our office in DC, and he pretty much should be a spokesperson for their company. Well, the DC snowboarders are all growing mustaches for the winter and started a contest to have people send in pictures of their mustaches and they would pick the best one. Well, of course Bart wanted to participate, but he took it another step further.........It paid off because he WON!! He won week one of the contest and gets $250 worth of DC stuff from their store! We were so excited! No one deserves it more than Bart! Here is what made Bart the Mustache King......

CIRCUS!!

I don't know what it was, but I have been asking Bart to take me to the circus since we have been married. Well, my super sweet husband surprised me and took me to the circus last weekend! It was so cute! He had it all planned out and had called my sister Lindsey to keep it a secret! We went to Ogden and he didn't tell me until we were on our way to the circus. It was so fun and the kids loved it! Thanks honey

Bart made me do this! Isn't that awful!

Sami and me on our way to the circus! She loved it!

Our Ramp!

For those of you who don't know, Bart built a ramp in our backyard with the help of his friends Jason and Rhett. It was a long ordeal, but in the end it was well worth it because we had a party! We had an opening ceremony and BBQ for those that wanted to try it out! We were happy with the turnout and it was good to see a lot of familiar faces.

And the ramp letting him know whats up.

Brian actually had some skill!(I know I was shocked too!)

Huntin'

Bart got a BUCK! It was the archery hunt and he went up Payson canyon with his family and got one on the opening day! He was so excited! I wasn't able to go with him because I had to work so when he called and said he got one I didn't believe him! He was happy he got one, but since he got it on the opening day he couldn't go hunting the rest of the hunt! He was bummed about that. (I was secretly glad he was done!)

KOREA!!!

Our trip to Korea was amazing! I am so sorry it has taken forever to post anything! We did so much stuff and it was amazing to see where Bart served! We went to 7 different cities in 11 days and all of which Bart had stuff ready for us to do. We went to a lot of National parks and to a lot of popular site seeing places. We went to the shi-nae (downtown) in every city (All that means is that we did a whole lot of shopping! ) We were able to go to the temple in Seoul and also attend church in one of the areas Bart served. The people were great to us and it was wonderful to see Bart talk with them. We really had a great time and we grew a lot as a couple. I love Bart so much and I know that going to Korea with him will be one of the biggest highlights of our marriage!

My favortie picture! Bart in a DC t-shirt and me in flip flops!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to tell you a little bit of what is going on in the life of the Dallin family. Bart is really busy with work. He just started a new house and he has a lot of side work going on as well. I am just working at the hospital and really loving it. I was accepted into the nursing program and I start this summer! We are actually leaving for a cruise with Bart's family on Saturday to Baja, Mexico for 5 days! We get home and have two weeks to re-group and then we are off to Korea! You heard me, we are going to Korea for Bart's 5 year anniversary! We are really excited! So needless to say we are really busy for the next couple of weeks!

The Canyons

There is no other way to say good bye to the snowboarding season then to do the pond skimming contest! Bart and I went up to the canyons for our last day of the season and Bart decided to go out with a bang! He put on Sponge Bob and tried to make it across the pond! It was hilarious and we had such a fun day up there! You can see his entire ride down on youtube! Here are also a few videos of Bart doing some tricks!
